Reishi
Reishi (Ganoderma lucidum, known in China as Ling Zhi) is one of the best-known mushrooms of the Eastern tradition.

Ancient Chinese herbal texts listed it among ingredients suitable for long-term use, and many people take it in the afternoon or evening. In this category you will find MycoMedica Reishi in all forms – extracts in capsules, organic powder, dried mushroom and honey.
Extracts in capsules
All extracts contain 500 mg per plant capsule, 90 capsules per pack. They differ in their profile of substances:
- Reishi – balanced extract, min. 30 % polysaccharides and min. 4 % triterpenes.
- Reishi 50 % – min. 50 % polysaccharides and min. 20 % beta-1,3/1,6-D-glucans.
- Reishi Triterpen – higher share of triterpenes (min. 10 %), which give Reishi its bitter taste.
- Reishi PRO – fruiting-body extract with min. 30 % beta-1,3/1,6-glucans.
Powder, dried mushroom and honey
Organic Reishi powder (100 g) is ground fruiting body with no additives – stir it into water, a smoothie or porridge. Dried Reishi are hard fruiting bodies traditionally used to make a bitter decoction. If you like neither capsules nor the bitter taste, try the MycoMedica honeys, for example MedoReishi – 95 % Czech blossom honey with Reishi extract and acerola.
Reishi in combinations
Reishi is part of several sets, for example the Reishi PRO and Hericium PRO bundle or the Reishi PRO and Cordyceps PRO set in the bundles and sets category. Compare other mushrooms in the MycoMedica or vital mushrooms categories.
Use
For extracts, the manufacturer usually states 1–2 capsules a day on an empty stomach, with 5 days of use and 2 days off. These are food supplements – the exact daily intake and warnings are on the label. GrowMedica is an official MycoMedica partner.
