Chaga
Chaga (Inonotus obliquus) grows mainly on birch trees in northern forests. In Russia and Scandinavia, the dark sclerotium is traditionally prepared as a decoction and drunk instead of tea.

Chaga naturally contains polysaccharides, triterpenes, polyphenols and melanin pigments. In this category you will find MycoMedica chaga in capsules, as powder and for decoctions.
Extracts in capsules
Each capsule contains 500 mg of extract; the pack has 90 plant capsules:
- Chaga PRO – organic extract with min. 30 % beta-glucans and min. 4 % triterpenes.
- Chaga – balanced extract with min. 30 % polysaccharides and 4 % triterpenes, biofermentation and double extraction with water and alcohol.
- Chaga 50 % – min. 50 % polysaccharides and min. 20 % beta-1,3/1,6-D-glucans.
Dried chaga and organic powder
Dried chaga (100 g) consists of crushed pieces of sclerotium ready for a decoction: about 10 g per litre of water, steep for 15 minutes and simmer gently for about 30 minutes. It is also suitable for a home-made tincture. Organic Chaga powder is finely ground mushroom without additives to stir into water or a smoothie.
How to choose a form
Capsules are the easiest for regular use and dosing; powder and dried chaga are for those who like to prepare their own dark, slightly earthy drink. Chaga is also found in blends, for example MyRemover from the MyTao series. Compare it with other mushrooms in the Reishi, dried mushrooms and MycoMedica categories.
Use
For capsules, the manufacturer usually states 1–2 capsules a day on an empty stomach, with 5 days of use and 2 days off. Use food supplements as directed on the label. GrowMedica is an official MycoMedica partner; in-stock orders are usually dispatched within 24 hours on business days.
